Wash in cold/warm water with Castile soap. Keep away from heat and flame. Store rolled up to prevent premature wearing by folding in same creases from folding flat.
Should minor cracking occur, it should still function without any issues, but won't be as water resistant in those areas. You can take a piece of wax paper to cover the wrap and lightly iron to re-melt the wax. Be sure to put a piece under the cloth as well to prevent any excess wax melting on your countertop!
